Rescue Me Season 1
The first season of Rescue Me premiered on FX Network on 21st July 2004. The season had a total of 13 episodes. In the first episode of the comedy drama, Tommy Gravin whose own life is in shambles struggles to renounce the memories of people he has seen perished in his career as a fire fighter. he tries to hide the pain of separation from Janet and his kids by spying on Jimmy’s wife. Tommy tries to destroy the business and finances of Janet’s new boyfriend. Meanwhile, Chief Reilly is likely to be suspended due to his argument with a colleague. Tommy casually goes out with Jimmy’s widow, Sheila, when she surprisingly tries to woo him. Meanwhile, Franco’s ex-girlfriend brings turmoil in his life by claiming that he is the father of her daughter. Tommy has an appalling experience with his father due to which he finally accepts the fact that his family is broken. In order to save his career, Chief Reilly is forced to reveal a family secret. Tommy tries to convince Janet to leave Roger, but she gets upset on learning about his new fling. The boys convince Sean to date a woman who turns out to be a man. Chief Reilly, advices Tommy about getting a free vacation of two weeks and he ties to resolve his issues with Janet. Tommy tries to convince Janet about the new lifestyle of Colleen, while coming to terms with his father’s insanity. At work Sean and Mike unknowingly initiate gambling among the squad. Tommy learns about a secret that Janet is hiding from him and tries to accept its probable outcome.
At work, Chief Reilly tells the crew about the new female crew member, Laura Miles. Tommy takes the help of Uncle Teddy to help Janet through her financial crisis. Meanwhile, the crew members leave no stone unturned to drive Laura crazy to force her to leave the job. Tommy continues to challenge death, while trying to make sense of the turbulence in his life. Lou gets a surprise when he tells his wife about his infidelity. Tommy approaches Uncle Teddy and his little friend to get the money that Janet needs for repairs. Franco tries to manage work and bring up his daughter alone, after his father has a stroke. In the final episode of the season, which was aired on 13th October 2004, Franco is hurt due to Tommy’s mistake at a fire, and the rest of the crew discovers that Sheila is pregnant with Tommy’s child.

This was the season’s 13th episode and was aired on 13th October 2004. In this episode, Tommy plans to save himself from being beaten by the cops at the upcoming hockey rematch between NYPD and FDNY. When Sheila is pregnant, her relationship with Tommy comes out in the open. As a result Janet disappears with the kids. Franco is injured, when he tries to rescue Tommy from hallucination during a fire.
